2006 - 2009 Team Achievements

Chris started trading in April 2001 as CAT RACING SERVICES providing specialist services in the preparation of racing engines, karting chassis and race support.

2009 Team Achievements

Jacob Hunstone moved up from Mini Max to Junior Max at the start of the year, also changing from an Intrepid to a CAT chassis, he has had the best season of his karting career to date taking both the MBKC and the Dragon Kart Club championship crowns, and taking a podium spot in the NKF championship. Jacob also took the Ace of Clubs title at Wilton Mill.

Joe Charlton followed the NKF Junior Max championship with CAT racing and finished in second spot.

Jonny Buchanan had another excellent season racing a CAT chassis taking the club title in Senior Blue at both the Hooton Park Cheshire Kart Club and Glan-Y-Gors Dragon Kart Club, and taking second spot at the MBKC Bluestar challenge.

Ellis Mort changed from Mini Max to Junior Blue at the start of 2009, and took the club championship title at the Welsh Circuit Glan-Y-Gors, as well as taking second spot in the Cheshire Kart Club championship racing a CAT chassis and CAT prepared engines.

Kirk Cattermole took the win at Wombwell in Senior Max earning him the coveted Cock ‘O’ North title, and took 4th spot in the MBKC club championship although he didn’t compete in all the championship rounds. Kirk also represented MBKC at the King Clubs.

John Halliwell joined the team towards the end of the season, however on his first outing on the CAT chassis he gained maximum club championship points in the 177 senior max class, John also secured second spot in the MBKC club championship
As well as setting the new lap record on the club circuit.

Aled Wyn Jones has followed the 177 Senior Max championship at Hooton Park and took third spot.

Emma Jones took the MBKC invitation series title in Senior Max.

Liam Murphy started the season in Mini Max and on his 13th Birthday moved up to Junior Max, Liam set the new lap record at the Three Sisters Club circuit in Junior Max, And finished the Mini Max NKF championship in a creditable second place.

Cat Racing had three team drivers selected to represent MBKC at the King of Clubs held at Wilton Mill, Jacob Hunstone & Matt Isherwood in Junior Max and Kirk Cattermole in Senior Max.

Jacob took the Ace of Clubs title after winning his final unfortunately Matt broke his collar bone in a heat one. And MBKC scored the most points to secure the King of Clubs 2009 title.

2008 Team Achievements

Dan Edwards moved from the short circuit 125 icc class to the long circuit 125 open class.

He followed the long circuit national championship, and came an incredible 3rd place in the championship as well as winning the Stars Of Darley race meeting, racing a CAT short circuit chassis and a CAT tuned TM engine, Dan will be changing to a long circuit chassis for the 2009 season.

Jonny Buchannan had a successful season in Senior Blue setting several fastest laps and heat and final wins, Jonny was following the MBKC, Hooton park and Glan-Y-Gors championships.

He took the club championship at Glan-Y-Gors with two rounds to spare, He also took the title at Hooton Park and finished third in the Three Sisters MBKC championship.

Chad Ryan came to CAT racing mid season, never having a final win, within a few meetings things changed and Chad has had several heat and final wins in Mini Max as well as setting several fastest laps and setting the new LAP RECORD at Hooton Park, Chad has had to be content with finishing second in the Hooton Park club championship and sixth in the MBKC club championship.

Mark Winter followed the Hooton Park championship which has seen very good entry’s in the 177 senior max class, he has had a few final wins but had to settle for second spot in the club championship, and he also took the championship title at the Glan-Y-Gors
Circuit.

Aled Jones and Nigel Pritchard also managed several podium finishes in the heats and finals

Kirk Cattermole followed the Hooton Park and MBKC club championship as well as competing in a few rounds of the Super 1 Senior Max championship.


Kirk has had several heat and final wins as well as setting several fastest laps, Kirk managed to secure the third spot at the MBKC club championship and  he took the championship crown at Hooton Park

2008 has seen several novices progress with CAT racing, bringing several Novice wins
Well done to Sam King, Jake Dobson & Rob Hogkinson in the Mini Max category and Darrin Robinson in the 177 Senior Max class.

2007 Team Achievements

Dan Edwards Takes the 2007 Formula 125 ICC British Superkart title, setting the new lap record at Mallory and Donnington Park.

Gary Robinson wins the Stars Of Darley Moor race meeting as well as setting the fastest lap of the day, racing a 250cc CAT tuned TM engine.

Richard Wilson takes the number 8 plate in the NKRA Senior Blue finals held at Larkhall.

Kirk Cattermole took several heat and final as well as setting several fastest laps at both Hooton Park and Three Sisters.

Jonny Buchanan took second spot in the Cheshire Kart Club championship, as well as several heat and final wins and setting several fastest laps at Hooton Park and Three Sisters. Jonny also holds the new lap record for the Formula Blue class at Hooton Park.

2006 Team Achievements

Dan Edwards: (Pic. Right) 2006 Grand Prix winner at Cadwell Park, fastest laps in all heats & final aboard a CAT CHASSIS and Cat tuned TM engine.

Robert Parry: Several heat & final wins and several fastest laps at the Glan Y Gors race circuit in North Wales. Finished 2nd in the GYG Club Championship.

Kirk Cattermole: Several heat & final wins and several fastest laps at the Glan Y Gors race circuit in North Wales. Several heat & final wins and several fastest laps at the 3 Sisters race circuit near Wigan. He finished 3rd in the GYG Championship and 5th in the 3 Sisters Club Championship.

Guy Mather: Set several fastest laps at Glan Y Gors and 3 Sisters circuits, finishing 5th in the Glan Y Gors Championship and 6th in the 3 Sisters Championship.
